You can get to the venue by public transit. From Munich you can take a suburban train (S6) or regional train to “Tutzing”. The regional train is a bit faster but only runs hourly from Munich central station. The suburban train to “Tutzing” runs every 20min.
From the train station in “Tutzing” you can take the bus number 958 towards “Kloster Andechs” and get off at “Machtlfing”. If you take the bus that arrives in Machtlfing at 4:19pm we can give you a ride to the farm. Or you can also take a nice short walk there (ca. 2km). If you require a pickup from the bus station in Machtlfing please let us know.

There will also be plenty of parking (for cars, vans and campers).
Unfortunately, the busses stop running to Tutzing at about 9pm. We can call you a cab at any time that takes you to your hotel or the train station. The last trains to Munich run at 0:44am and 1:44am and the first one at 5:04am.
There is more than enough room to pitch your tent or park your camper on the grounds. Please arrive on time (ca. 4:30pm) so you can set up your camp before the party starts. We won’t be able to offer water/electricity hookups for campers.
A popular option among you is sleeping in the hay, and we already received a few questions about this. Here an overview about what you need to know:
The party will take place in a large barn. About half the barn will be used for dinner tables and dance floor. Behind this area, we will prepare a hay camp for you, which will be separated from the party area by a wall of hay bales. Please be aware that his won’t be a quiet sleeping option, so either bring some ear plugs or a tent if you want a more quiet bed.
In case you are not familiar with sleeping in the hay: It will be soft, but can be a bit itchy, so please bring a sleeping bag, pillow, blanket or something that separates you from the hay. At the end of may the nights can still be a bit chilly as well.
Finally, you can of course also join the bridal pair in having an all-night party (which is obviously highly encouraged ;)).

We have everything, but we’d be grateful for financial support for our camping trip through Europe, which we’ll embark on right after the wedding!
Come as you feel most comfortable! There’s nothing wrong with getting super-fancy or wearing traditional attire, if you’re in the mood. It might get a bit cold so bring something for the later hours. 💃🕺
